The owner failed to disclose that there are 5 flights of stairs to get into the property. This made it impossible for one of guest to enter the property. In addition, the person who paid for the cabin had to be hospitalized one week before the trip and the owner refused to work with us to delay the trip or receive a partial (not asking for much money back) refund so the trip could be cancelled. We would not recommend renting this cabin.

We had a great time visiting.The house was exactly as described, very clean and well appointed. I travel extensively for work and felt like I was staying at a hotel but with the comforts of home. Highly recommend.

Overall, the stay was good. House was clean, deck was nice. The living space and dining table were a great size. The biggest issue was the home was advertised to have 4.5 bathrooms, when in reality there were only 2.5 bathrooms. The 4.5 bathrooms was one of the primary reasons we booked this home, so it was disappointing to find out that the advertisement was false. House was definitely clean but garbage cans in the garage were pretty much already full when we arrived. Also note that the hang out area by the private dock is not along the water and thus not a practical space for kids to enjoy the lake. That said, you can make the 20min drive to Miller’s Landing where you can get rentals and find a spot at a sandy area. We had a great time at Rocky Point.

We enjoyed our time at this house and it fit our needs. It was updated and clean and comfortable. Finding a rental house that welcomes dogs is always a challenge but this house was great and had a wonderful area for them to go potty and could be locked up safely. The stairs leading up to the house and the walk to the dock posed a little challenge for Granada and her bum hip. We do wish the dock was closer, but we kept our toys down at the dock so it made the walk easier for The future walks down. Overall we were happy, but due to our elderly travelers we probably won’t rent this exact house again.
