Clean and comfortable; grand kids had a blast

We spent Christmas at this house. We had a great time and there was plenty of space for all 12 of us! The only items we had any complaint about was the stove. It was a little tricky and we could only get 2 pans to work on the burners. So our weekend cooking was limited. But then we found crock pots/grills that got us through. We also saw plenty of deer roaming the property in the earlt morning. Thay was neat.

My overall impression of my stay was great! From the moment we got there i knew it was going to be a nice stay! The house was clean, sheets and towels smelled clean. We did have a hard time with the stove, i just wish it was a gas range. There were a few dishes that we had to wash because we found old food on them. My sister mentioned that the bed up stairs next to the bathroom was squeaky every time she moved it nade noise. I stayed in the master bedroom which i enjoyed very much. Over all we would consider coming back! It was also convenient that we drove 20 minutes out to yosemite to see snow and was very lucky to get there while it was snowing. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Came here with entire family, even the dogs, with the intention of visiting Bass Lake, for relaxation, and celebrate my 60th! This property made all this happen in a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, there were plenty of modes of entertainment (i.e. pool table, T.V.s,games, etc.) that kept us entertained and the linen was well furnished. We even were blessed to see a local family of deer a few mornings. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The host falsely advertises the following. "We have a NO CHORES Policy." All we did were chores. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, towels in the dryer, calling the host about plumbing issues and an ant and June Bug infestation and many other items. Also, a week before we were scheduled to arrive I asked the host to ensure that the BBQ was clean and there was enough propane. When we checked in the BBQ was clean but the tank on the BBQ was empty and the one next to it was 1/4 full, if that. They did bring some the next day but, again, I did not want to spend my vacation following up on things like this. It would have been OK if this was the only thing but unfortunately it wasn't and what I had hoped to be a relaxing couple of days with friends from out of town, was not!!!
