Contact with the host was excellent. It’s always good to feel confident that if any problems arise you can count on someone being there.

STAY AWAY! We checked into this property with our two kids under the age of two and unfortunately, we were unable to stay and had to pay for another accommodation. As we walked into the home there was a pervasive smoke smell throughout the entire house, which was not mentioned in the listing. This was particularly concerning as my son has asthma and cannot be exposed to such conditions. In addition to the overwhelming smoke odor, the home’s condition did not match the listing description. The photos were misleading, showing a much brighter space than the reality, which was extremely dark with limited lighting options. We also noticed a slide in the downstairs room and several safety hazards, including mold and pet hair, which posed risks to our children—one of whom picked up a hairball while crawling.We had no choice but to urgently find alternative accommodations for the safety and comfort of our young children. We are deeply disappointed, as we were looking forward to our stay. Additionally, when we reached out to Vanessa, she initially responded but has since ghosted us for the last seven days to a resolve with the issue.

Going with another couple and pets, this place worked great! There’s plenty of space to spend time together as well as get some alone time!! It’s an easy walk to The Pines Village and shops - kayaks were a bonus too!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin in Bass Lake, California. The house was well equipped and within a short walking distance to town. The deck was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the decor was beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming to both us and our fur babies.
